I could start out with “hi, guys,” but that’s not very Alabama, now is it? I could use something like “howdy, y’all”, but that’s a bit too Beverly Hillbillies. Then again, Ellie May and I have a couple of things in common (not the mansion or money though, unfortunately). So we’ll skip the salutations and go straight to the introduction. My name is Jessica, and I grew up in a rural farming community in Alabama. Now that I’m an adult with an all American family (with a house, and a yard, and a son, and a daughter) I find myself wanting to catalog things for my babies, if for nothing else. We’re currently building our first home on a little ranch in Alabama (forgive the cell quality photos below) not too far from the community where I grew up. I’m REALLY excited to share my design ideas, house updates, and lots of random photos with anyone who drops by. I hope y’all enjoy!
